Rigging Awareness & Signaling Training

Kindly be advised that the Building Trades Employers’ Association (BTEA) and the Massachusetts Construction Advancement Program (MCAP) will be holding two quality educational training sessions for their contributing employees to be held on Monday, August 19, 2019 at the AC Marriott Worcester from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Contractors Risk Management (CRM) a leading safety consultant in New England will provide participants these two 2-hour construction safety courses. Certification cards will be awarded upon successful completion of these courses.
“Rigging Awareness” 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm will provide participants information on: Applicable OSHA & ANSI/ASME Regulations and Standards, Special Emphasis on OSHA 1926 Subpart CC for Cranes and Derricks in Construction, Principles of Craning, Safe Operating Practices, Suspended Personnel Platforms, Communications in Lifting Operations, Accident Causes and Preventions. Light Snacks will be provided!
“Signaling Training” 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm will provide participants information on: Requirements for OSHA Crane Signaling, ANSI Hand signals, Voice Signaling, OSHA other signaling, Reasons for signaling, Modification of signals, Practical test for signals, Written test on ANSI hand signals. Full dinner will be provided!
