Reasonable Suspicion Training

April 25, 2018 @ 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) requires that all persons designated to supervise drivers receive Reasonable Suspicion Training (RST). In this seminar, Bruce Lawler of Contractor’s Risk Management (CRM) will provide this training for anyone who is concerned with having a drug free workforce.  Not only is RST required by the FMCSA, but it is also an important legal safeguard when attempting to determine if an individual is intoxicated or under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

This seminar will provide the formal 2-2.5 hour reasonable suspicion course. There are exercises and a 15  question exam that must be passed before receiving an RST Certificate. RST will now be more important than ever with the ongoing decriminalization and legalization of marijuana. Fill out the form below to register!

After completing this course, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the regulations that apply to reasonable suspicion testing, including the alcohol and drug prohibitions
  • Recognize the signs and symptoms of alcohol abuse and drug use and describe what to look for when determining reasonable suspicion
  • Receive a certificate affirming they have passed a Reasonable Suspicion Course.
