Reasonable Suspicion Training

Modern Assistance Programs (MAP) is one of the premier employee assistance plans for the union trades in New England. Their instructors and clinicians utilize expertise in order to provide comprehensive reasonable suspicion training for supervisors.
The training will be used by the supervisors to determine whether reasonable suspicion exists to intervene with an employee who appears to be actively under the influence. The training includes the physical, behavioral, speech, and performance indicators of probable alcohol misuse and use of controlled substances. Included are several scenarios where the student learns how outside influences can affect a person’s demeanor, examples include but are not limited to; Low sugar reaction for the diabetic, prescription drug and over the counter drugs with interacting on each other.
